Well-known media personality Fakhr e Alam had been teasing about the upcoming match for quite a while and the last few days have been all about attendees sharing scenic clicks of this dazzling location. The match was conducted between two countries- The Showbiz Sharks and Gwadar Dolphins. The Sharks were led by PCB CEO Waseem Khan and had known faces like Faysal Qureishi, Ali Zafar, Saleem Sheikh, Aijaz Aslam, Shezad Roy, Sami Khan, among others. The Dolphins were represented by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari and included local players.
The match had an emotional tribute paid to lost Pakistani mountaineer Ali Sadpara and the other two foreign climbers who were lost on an adventurous expedition and dangerous winter summit on the savage mountain K2.
The friendly cricket match has put the spotlight on the newly inaugurated stadium which is definitely going to be a major tourism boost for the country.
