Lahore: The government of Punjab has okayed the summary of recruitment of 100,000 vacancies in the province.

According to the details, Punjab chief minister okayed a proposal containing the agenda of fulfilling the vacant positions across the province.  However, 33000 vacant positions in Punjab Education Department will be filled at first phase.

Chief minister Buzdar directed acme of transparency and uphold the merit basis recruitment.  The chief minister also directed the departments concerned that the recruitment rules should be followed in letter and spirit so that equal opportunity to everyone may not be compromised in the recruitment process.

In another development, the CM Punjab has issues directions for the disbursing of salary to the ad-hoc doctors in the Punjab. He also insisted that there must not be delay in the payment of those salaries.

The special assistant to the PM, Hassan Khawar shared the detailed of the recruitment with media. He maintained that the recruitment for the already vacant position of 33,000 in education department will be filled at the first phase of the recruitment.

To which departments recruitment will be made in Punjab?

According to the summary, there are 1,200 vacant positions in primary healthcare sector, 2900 in specialised healthcare, 2600 in higher education, 4300 in the prisons department, and 1,200 in civil defence.

‘’As many as 3,500 college teachers’ interns and 4,800 patwaris’ vacancies will also be filled during the recruitment process’’, Khawar said. He also added that 1,200 vacancies in police and border military police will also be part of the approved recruitment process.

Khawar said that the journey of progress had started with 100,000 jobs and the CM had directed to initiate necessary action to fill the posts in housing, public health engineering, local government, and other various departments.
