Amidst the ruckus in the joint session in the National Assembly Hall, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser stopped PPP MNA Abdul Qadir Mandokhail from attending the assembly session for dishonouring the speaker during Wednesday’s joint sitting of the parliament, Daily Times reported.

The speaker National Assembly lost patience and warned the member pointing out his finger. The tirade continued until Speaker allowed Chairman PPP for speech in the Assembly. Mandokhail now would not be able to attend the National Assembly session on November 19.

Earlier, NA Speaker Asad Qaiser and PPP MNA Abdul Qadir Mandokhail engaged in a heated argument which was followed by the speaker’s warning for the MNA to speak courteously.

However, when Mandokhail didn’t listen to the warning, the speaker ordered security to escort Mandokhail out of Parliament.

“Stay within your limits; I suspend you [from the session]” said Qaiser while addressing Mandokhail.

“Get him out,” he told the security.

Qaiser asked Bilawal to take notice of the “way” his MNA behaved. “This is not the way to talk to a speaker,” he said.

It is worth mentioning that despite the hue and cry of the opposition parties, the ruling PTI succeeded in bringing the 31 amendments to the table and the majority passed those amendments.   Among those bills, two prominent bills- Electronic Voting Machines Bill and the enfranchising the overseas Pakistanis were the most debated bills that caused ire among the opposition parties in the session.

It must be noted that Assembly speaker Asad Qaisar had also hot exchange of words frequently with other members of opposition parties. The same was witnessed during the August session wherein former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had tirade with the incumbent speaker of National Assembly.
