Plastic cans, tissue sheets, wrappers, and cartons were thrown into the aircraft by passengers on a trip from Islamabad to London, according to passengers. As reported, it took hours for the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) workers and crew to clean the jet in preparation for the next trip back to Islamabad. The comprehensive cleaning of the aircraft also resulted in the return trip to Islamabad being delayed for many hours, causing annoyance to the passengers.

The toilet was strewn with tissue papers, and there was a mountain of debris on the seat and in the hallway, as seen in the photograph.

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) chartered aircraft PK9785 travelled from Islamabad to London and returned again, and both times the plane was stuffed with junk.

PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES (PIA) was named one of the world’s greatest airlines earlier this month after receiving a perfect score in an audit performed by European aviation safety authority SAFA (Safety Audit for Foreign-Origin Aircraft.)

SAFA performed its routine and surprise safety inspections for all non-European airlines at various airports across the globe, both on a regular and unexpected basis. Following the false licence issue involving PIA pilots in Pakistan, SAFA inspectors at major foreign airports conducted extensive investigations into the airline.
