It’s no surprise that Pakistani actors are a bunch of supremely talented people. Besides exploring diverse acting and storytelling areas they keep on surprising us with their various talents. Actors of this era seem to be born with incredible singing capabilities, and Ahsan Khan is no less. His melodious voice mesmerized everyone when his foot-tapping track “Torr” surfaced on the new musical platform ‘Kashmir Beats’. The track not just became an instant hit but also crossed one million-plus view within a wink of an eye.

First, let’s just talk about the song. ‘Torr’ is an irresistible blend of contemporary and traditional beats that embodies festivity, and makes you want to dance like there is no tomorrow. The hook line “Tere Naal Mai Nachi Jawan Ga Ban Ke Tera Fan” itself explores the fun dynamics of a guy wooing his love interest. It has a simple yet unique connection. It has an unusual edge that tugs our heartstrings. 

The music is soulful and rhythmic. The beats are catchy and the lyrics especially keep you hooked. Lines like ‘Teri Call Vekh Ke Badal Janday De Ne Saray Mere Plan’ or ‘Tenu Private Jet Tay Lejava Dekhawa Disney Land’ are catchy and remain with you for long. Composed, written, and produced by Shany Haider, the track is a breath of fresh air for avid music lovers who always seek a new song to hook onto. Directed by Haris Qadeer, ‘Torr’ is pleasant to hear and does grow on you when you hear it multiple times. 

Expressing his feelings on the super success of ‘Torr’, Ahsan Khan said: “The idea was to have fun, so we kind of blended bhangra and hip hop together. It was a great and fulfilling experience. It’s heartwarming to see such a massive response by the viewers.”

Overall, ‘Torr’ is a clear winner and one which you must check out if you haven’t yet done so.

On the professional front, Khan is out all guns blazing. His ongoing drama serial ‘Qayamat’ is a mega success; viewers are loving his aggressive avatar as ‘Rashid’. His talk show ‘Time out with Ahsan Khan’ is a hit. In the past, Khan has made his presence felt across the globe by excelling in a wide range of spectrums, be it an excelled orator, influential role model, or doing humanitarian work. Recently, one of the largest NGOs of Pakistan ‘LRBT’ has signed Ahsan as their goodwill ambassador. The NGO has treated over 46 million underprivileged patients. It has performed over 4.5 million free eye surgeries since 1985. In a nutshell, Ahsan Khan is amongst those who just don’t work for applause but works for a cause too.
