It has been reported that on routine police patrolling an explosive device was blasted. The District of Bajaur is a district in the Malakand Division of the province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The District Police Officer (DPO) of the district named Samad Khan told the Dawn officials that the police were on duty near Raghagan Dam when the IED exploded at around 10:30 in the morning. He further shares that among two martyred policemen, one was a havaldar and the other was a sepoy. The bodies of the martyred policemen are transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ). On the order of the DPO, the police have started a search operation in the area. The police are hopeful of reaching the culprits.
